In January-May 2018, the gross output of agriculture, forestry and fishery sector in Kazakhstan amounted to 745.6 billion tenge, which is 3.9 percent more than in the same period of 2017, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.
The volume of output of livestock production, in the reporting, period amounted to 707.2 billion tenge (an increase of 4 percent compared to January-May of the previous year), crop production - 28.9 billion tenge (an increase of 0.9 percent year over year), services in the field of agriculture - 182.3 million tenge.
The volume of production in the hunting sector amounted to 364.7 million tenge, in the forestry industry - 5,596.2 m., in fisheries and aquaculture - 3,338.7 m.
Previously, China announced its plans to increase purchases of wheat, sunflower and rapeseed oil from Kazakhstan, granting access to Kazakh producers to modern technologies for processing raw materials and new markets.
