The Turkmen Sada Dostluk company, located in the Turkmen city of Mary, has started supplying first cargoes of light and soft shoes to the trade network, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan said in a message.
About 1,500 pairs of summer shoes and 1,000 pairs of galoshes of the Sada trademark are produced daily at the company. The plant has equipment that will make it possible to renew the varieties and design of footwear. The use of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) material gives shoes lightness, elasticity and increased resistance to temperature changes.
The company plans to produce galoshes in the national Turkmen style. The manufacturer also intends to start exporting footwear to neighboring countries.
