Uzbek products will be showcased at the Expo 2018 international exhibition of imported goods in China on Nov. 5-10, 2018, Uzbek media reported.
Chairman of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping announced plans to organize and hold the exhibition back in May 2017 during the One Belt, One Ray international cooperation summit.
President Xi Jinping's initiative was supported by the leaders of many countries, including President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
China pays great attention to Uzbekistan's participation in the exhibition, and the Office of the Adviser on Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Tashkent maintains constant contact with the responsible state bodies of the country.
China and Uzbekistan have done a great deal of joint work to ensure the successful participation of the Uzbek side at the exhibition. In particular, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China sent dozens of letters to the competent authorities on the development and provision of the concept and design of the state pavilion of Uzbekistan
