Iran’s foreign trade balance positive - Customs figures

Iran’s non-oil foreign trade during the first 4 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21) stood at $271 million, according to the latest report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

Iran’s non-oil foreign trade during the first 4 months this year reached $271 million, registering a 14.69 percent increase compared to the same period last year, Shata news agency reported on July 29.

The country’s total foreign trade in the first three months of the same year stood at $365 million.

The figures show non-oil exports to China, Iraq and the UAE increased by 7.73 percent, 23.19 percent, and 31.95 percent.

Afghanistan’s non-oil imports from Iran also rose 30.69 percent.

The report added that the value of Iran’s imports in the first 4 months of this year stood at $15.179 billion, showing a 4.05 percent rise compared to the same corresponding period last year.

These mainly originated from China, South Korea, and Germany.
