The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan (Turkmenvnesheconombank, TVEB) is preparing to introduce digital banking, UN Development Program (UNDP) said in a statement.
UNDP and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) are working together to create an innovative development strategy and prepare for introduction of digital banking for TVEB.
In the framework of the project, several training events will be held to increase the knowledge of TVEB employees in project management and financing, digital banking system and security, and new technologies.
"Today, companies are increasingly turning to the use of methods and principles of project management. This is associated with the fact that project management helps entrepreneurs to more effectively develop, plan and implement projects in order to achieve the desired goals," the message quoted Michael Adams, a PwC expert, as saying.
All this will lead to improvement and further integration of the banking system of Turkmenistan into the international financial system.
