Uzbeks have bought 900 Chevrolet Spark R2 Optimum A/T cars on the first day of discount sales, Uzbek media reported.
Interestingly, GM Uzbekistan had been originally planning to sell a total of 1,000 Spark cars.
As a part of the campaign, GM Uzbekistan offered customers to buy Spark cars and get a discount of one million soums (about $124). The special offer was supposed to last until Nov. 10, 2018. However, considering the demand, it seems that no cars will be left in a few days.
The company additionally offered Uzbeks to purchase 235 Spark R2 Comfort A/T cars through loans.
"These cars can be purchased as usual at dealerships, as well as through a concessional lending program from Infinbank, the official partner of GM Uzbekistan for car loans. Soon we will also increase the range of cars available for loans," the company said.
