The prices set by industrial production enterprises in Kazakhstan, including the production of services, increased by 14.4 percent in the first 9 months of this year, Kazinform reported with reference to the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry.
During the reporting period, the prices of manufacturing production enterprises rose by 7.2 percent and of those in the mining industry – by 21 percent. Industrial production increased in price by 15 percent, while prices for industrial services went up by 7.3 percent.
Since the beginning of the year, oil has increased in price by 24 percent, diesel – by 23.1 percent, liquefied propane and butane – by 17.4 percent, fuel oil – by 15.9 percent, natural gas – by 12.4 percent, coal – by 7.8 percent, metal ores – by 2.8 percent, and gasoline – by 1.6 percent.
There was also rise in prices for ferroalloys – by 18.9 percent, rolled ferrous metals – 12.9 percent, aluminum – by 7.7 percent, precious metals – by 1.3 percent, while prices dropped for zinc – 8.2 percent, lead – 5 percent, and copper – by 2.4 percent.
The growth in prices was also for rice – by 13.5 percent, vegetable oil – 8 percent, tea – 6.2 percent, sugar – 5.5 percent, fish – 3.8 percent, wheat flour - 3.5 percent, rye – 2.4 percent, cattle meat – by percent, dairy products – 1.9 percent, poultry meat – 0.9 percent, and bread – 0.7 percent. However, the prices of cereals and pasta fell by 3.3 and 1.5 percent, respectively.
