The Center for Simplified Support for Family Business (ABAD) will open a production complex in Guba entitled as “The ABAD Factory”, the Director of ABAD Center public legal entity Rufat Elchiyev told Trend October 3.
He noted that the opening of ABAD regional centers in Imishli and Sheki regions is expected by the end of this year.
"And we are awaiting from day to day the opening of the ABAD Factory production complex in Guba, and a park for food trucks - these are café-vans with the mobile kitchen for the sale of fast food and drinks," Elchiyev said.
In addition, the director of ABAD noted, the opening of two centers of ceramics and applied art in Sheki and the Baku suburban village of Nardaran is also expected.
"The ABAD center receives artisans and masters of handicraft from all over Azerbaijan, as for the farmers and food producers, only the residents of those economic and geographical areas in which ABAD regional centers operate, can contact the ABAD, as the production is controlled at every stage through these centers," Elchiyev said.
The ABAD regional centers operate in Masalli, Balakan and Guba regions.
Elchiyev said the total turnover of ABAD has exceeded one million manats in two years of its activity.
The Center for Simplified Support for Family Businesses (ABAD) was established by decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated September 23, 2016. The ABAD center provides comprehensive support to families at all stages of the business, ranging from branding and design of the enterprise and ending with the introduction of products to the markets. Currently, the agriculture and decorative arts are the main areas of activity for ABAD.
