Governor of Kazakhstan’s Aktobe region Berdibek Saparbayev, through videoconferencing, took part in a meeting on project management, which was chaired by Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Kapital.kz reported.
The head of the region informed the Cabinet ministers about the measures taken to achieve the target indicators and implement activities in a number of areas for 9 months of this year.
Saparbayev noted that as many as 14 projects are being implemented in all major social and economic spheres.
All socio-economic indicators of the region showed to have dynamic growth over the reporting period: industry — by 5.7 percent, investment — 18.1 percent, construction — 7.1 percent, housing commissioning — 26 percent, and agriculture — 4 percent.
It is worth noting that the main goal of the project management is to ensure a 5 percent growth of Kazakhstan’s economy. For 9 months of this year, the Aktobe region's economy grew by 5.7 percent.
