In the current year (beginning March 21, 2018), 303.541 billion shares worth 903.526 trillion rials (about $21,512,523,809) were traded during 142 days upon 17,204,586 purchase-sale transactions, the Iranian Securities and Exchange Organization said.
According to the research of the stock exchange market, during the reporting period, 202.976 billion shares worth 516.941 trillion rials (about $12.308 trillion) were traded in the 1st market upon 9,265,651 purchase-sale transactions.
Moreover, 95.585 billion shares worth 300.740 trillion rials (about $7.160 billion) were traded upon 7,766,415 transactions in the second market.
Meanwhile, 54 million shares worth 53.107 trillion rials (about $1.264 billion) were traded in the bond market upon 24,830 purchase-sale transactions.
Thus, 1.400 billion shares worth 51 billion rials (about $1,214,285) were traded at derivatives market upon 2,714 purchase-sale transactions.
A total of 3.189 billion shares worth 32.688 trillion rials (about $778,285,714) were traded at the Tehran Stock Exchange upon 142,591 purchase-sale transactions.
According to the report, this year, the index beginning from 96,290 units in the stock exchange market has increased by 84,770 units (88 percent) and reached 182,929 units.
The index of the first market for the reporting period increased by 66,433 units and the index of the second market increased by 158,536 units.
