Turkish companies ready to partake in implementing infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan

Turkish companies are ready to participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu said at the meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmenistan State News Agency reported.

Hisarciklioglu confirmed the high interest of Turkish business circles in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan.

Berdimuhamedov, in turn, stressed that agreements reached at the highest level, solid regulatory framework, as well as the bonds of friendship, as well as the historical and cultural unity of the Turkmen and Turkish peoples are the reliable basis for effective cooperation between the two countries.

In this context, it was noted that there is impressive potential for increasing full-scale cooperation.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for expanding bilateral trade, stimulating investment activity, as well as diversifying business partnership through the implementation of joint projects in various fields.

At the same time, it was emphasized that the expansion of cooperation is facilitated by the activities of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish commission and joint Business Council, as well as the practice of holding business forums and industry exhibitions that open up opportunities for finding new areas of partnership, boosting interaction between the business circles of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
