Iran discloses volume of products exported through customs of Bushehr province

Over seven months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), 17,703 million tons of products worth $8.818 billion were exported through the customs of the Bushehr province, Supervisor of the customs of Bushehr province Mansour Bazyar said in an interview with IRNA.

He said that this Iranian year the volume of export decreased by 18 percent in terms of weight and increased by 7 percent in terms of value compared to the same period of last year.

Bazyar added that 12.277 million tons of non-oil goods worth $5.993 billion were exported.

Non-oil goods exported through the customs of the province increased by 8 percent in terms of weight and 41 percent in terms of value compared to the same period of last year, he said.

The main products exported from Bushehr province are gas condensate, petrochemicals, cement and clinker, sulphur, excavation equipment, agricultural products, gypsum and gypsum products, Bazyar said.

He added that about 384,000 tons of products worth $1.095 billion were imported through the customs of Bushehr province.

Among the main products imported through the customs of the province are power plant equipment, bananas, butter, car and motorcycle parts, car tires, factory equipment, rice, tea and cars, Bazyar said.

These products are mainly imported from China, Russia, the Philippines, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, India, Ecuador, South Korea, Sweden and Japan, he said.
