The value of exports from Iran’s Ardabil province over the first seven months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018) is estimated at $64 million, which is 70 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Shata news agency cited Hamid Amili, chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the Ardabil Province, as saying.
He added that 107,000 tons of products were exported over the first seven months of this Iranian year, which is 180 percent more compared to the same period last year.
He said the foreign currency appreciation did not fully affect the increase in exports.
A number of other factors also directly or indirectly affected the increase or decrease in exports, Amili added.
