This Iranian year (started March 21), 11.5 million tons of products have been transported to various parts of Iran through the Markazi Province, Director General of Road Transport Administration of the Markazi Province Ali Zandifer said in an interview with IRNA.
He said the transportation of goods increased by 7 percent this Iranian year compared to last year.
He said that among the main transported products were different kinds of cement (17 percent), mazut and diesel (15 percent).
These products were mainly transported to the Tehran, Khuzestan, Isfahan and Qom provinces, he added.
Zandifer said that on average, more than seven million tons of products are transported from different parts of the country to Markazi Province.
