Imishli Gushchulug LLC, an Azerbaijani producer of broilers, chicken meat and eggs, plans to increase production by about 5-10 percent, the company told Trend Dec. 3.
The company, due to several internal reasons, had to suspend production during the summer period.
“In September, we managed to fully restore the production, and in October-November, the production exceeded the figures for the same period last year,” the company noted. “Our products are meant for domestic consumption, and are mainly sold in Imishli and Baku, as well as other cities of Azerbaijan. Previously, we supplied chicken eggs to a number of other countries, but now export is suspended.”
Imishli Gushchulug LLC has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2007. The company produces more than 2,000 tons of chicken meat per year.
