Some 70,000 tons of fruits were exported from Iran’s Mazandaran province, ILNA cited Azizollah Shahidifar, head of the agriculture organization of Mazandaran province, as saying.
Kiwi, Thomson orange and tangerine are exported from the province, he said, adding that exporters have a lot of problems with transit.
He said that customs duties are high for exporters.
However, there are problems with the export of Thomson oranges and these problems are expected to be resolved, he added.
Shahidifar said that 22 agricultural products are produced in Mazandaran province.
