Apartments in secondary housing market getting cheaper in Baku

In November 2018, prices for primary housing in Baku increased by 2.94 percent compared to October and reached 1,260 manats per square meter, general director of MBA Group, real estate expert Nusrat Ibrahimov told Trend.

Ibrahimov noted that prices in the real estate market showed a growth during the month, except the prices in the secondary housing market and the rental market of commercial real estate.

The cost of housing in the secondary market in Baku decreased by 2.5 percent to 1,656 manats per square meter, and the rental of commercial real estate decreased by 4.74 percent to 14.98 manats per square meter.

Touching upon other main segments of the real estate market, the expert noted that the prices in the land market increased by 4.2 percent for the month and reached 22,110 manats per hundred square meters. In the commercial premises market, prices grew by 6.7 percent over the month and reached 2,570 manats. Housing rental prices rose by 0.73 percent and amounted to 921.75 manats per apartment.
