About 70 million manats will be spent for the improvement of Azerbaijan’s Pirallahi Technopark, the Azerbaijani government told Trend.
The project's executor is the High Tech Park LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The funds will be directed to develop office premises of 65,000-70,000 square meters, as well as to establish residential buildings, business hotels, business incubators, training centers and conference rooms.
A 50-hectare land plot has been allocated for the construction of the technopark.
It was earlier reported that an additional building, which will be used as a showroom, where foreign vendors will be able to present their products, is planned to be built.
A number of local companies applied for obtaining resident status and deploying the production of their products in the Pirallahi Technopark. The same issue is the subject of discussions with foreign vendors.
The technopark will become a territory with the necessary infrastructure, material and technical base and management structures for research in the fields of ICT, telecommunications and space communications, energy, etc.
