Two more Turkish provinces to be connected via high-speed railway

The high-speed railway will be built between the Turkish provinces of Izmir and Antalya, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Jan. 28.

“Presently, the work is underway to implement this project,” the ministry said.

"The tender may be announced for the construction of high-speed railway till the end of 2019 and the corresponding work will begin," the ministry said.

The ministry said that 11 billion Turkish liras has been invested in the implementation of transport projects in Antalya province.

Presently, the work is underway to implement 50 transport and communication projects in Turkey.
