Construction of the third branch of tram lines in the administrative center of Turkey’s Eskisehir Province is nearing completion.

Construction of the third branch of tram lines in the administrative center of Turkey’s Eskisehir Province is nearing completion, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.

As stated by the ministry, around 90 percent of the construction work that began in April 2018 is completed as a whole.

"The total length of the third branch of the tram line in the city center of Eskisehir will be 30 kilometers," the ministry said.

The third branch of the tram line consists of seven different routes, and will have 36 stops in total.

The ministry also noted that, according to preliminary data, the construction of the branch will be completed in March of this year, after which the tram lines will be tested.

Work is currently underway on the implementation of 50 transport and communication projects in Turkey.
