Imisli Qusculuq LLC, an Azerbaijani producer of broilers, chicken meat and eggs, intends to keep the current production volume of poultry for the domestic market, a source in the company told Trend.
The company previously planned to increase the production volume by 10-15 percent, according to the source.
“The company meets domestic demand for poultry in Imishli, Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan. There is strong competition in this segment due to the emergence of new brands, and as a result there is a great choice of products in the market. The issue of increasing production isn’t on the agenda,” the source noted.
Previously, the company supplied chicken eggs to neighboring countries, but now export is suspended, the source added.
Imisli Qusculuq LLC has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2007. The company produces more than 2,000 tons of chicken meat per year.
The company's products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, as well as a hygiene certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
The company operates equipment manufactured in Poland, Germany and Turkey.
