Trend:

About 240 homes for the construction of a new business center, Yunusabad Business City, will be demolished in Yunusabad (Uzbekistan), Trend reports via Uzbek media.

The new complex will be built at the intersection of Yangi Shahar and Chinabad streets, the total cost of the project will be approximately $300 million.

"We are now preparing an action plan for the resettlement of the Otkhopar-2 street’s residents. They will have several opportunities - to take compensation on market conditions, or to move to new high-rise buildings erected at Sergeli. They can also choose a residential town in the Yunusabad district for relocation, under which we will allocate 20 hectares to build typical cottages there, "said Donierbek Muminov, chief engineer of the project at Yunusabad Business City.

He states that the construction work is scheduled to begin this spring and the project will be completed within three years.

The new business center will be located on 45.5 hectares territory out of which 20 hectares will be allocated to the green zone. In addition, there will be shopping and entertainment centers, offices, business and administrative buildings.

The acting director of Yunusabad Business City, Umid Umarov stresses that the whole process of resettlement and demolition will be fully coordinated with the residents. Nothing will happen without the consent of residents. In any case, all investors will provide the best conditions for the population and there will be an individual approach to each tenant.
