Products worth 46.6 million manats were produced by metallurgical companies in Azerbaijan in January 2019, Trend reports with reference to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says the volume of output of metallurgical industry decreased by 16.1 percent while the production of finished goods decreased by 25.4 percent in January 2019.
Azerbaijan produced 24,300 tons of fittings in January 2019, which is almost 2 percent more than in January 2018.
In January 2019, 1,400 tons of steel pipes were produced in Azerbaijan, that is by 75.4 percent less than in January 2018.
The volume of steel casting production stood at 28,500 tons in January 2019, which is almost 8 percent less than in January 2018.
Azerbaijan exported 56,133.9 tons of ferrous metal pipes worth $44,610.2 million in January 2019, which is by 2.3 percent less (by 14 percent more in money terms) than in January 2018.
