Iran imported 120,000 tons of soybeans and barley, Director General of Iran's Livestock Support Company Reza Karimi said.
Soybeans and barley are imported from India and Germany, Karimi added, Trend reports referring to ISNA.
He said the import of animal feed will reach 500,000 tons until the end of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018).
Last week, Iran obtained about 65,000 tons of barley, he said.
Karimi added that 55,000 tons of soybeans were imported from India last night.
Animal feed is mainly imported from Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, India and so on, he said.
