The Afghan investments in Iran's Chabahar Port will total $60 million, Deputy Transport Minister of Afghanistan Imam Mohammad Warymoch told reporters at an event dedicated to the development of Chabahar in Iran's Sistan and Balochestan Province, Trend reports via ILNA.
Warymoch noted that so far, 114 Afghan businessmen have invested in Chabahar, and they are still interested in further investing in the port.
There are certain problems, but they can be solved through discussions, Warymoch said.
The Afghan deputy minister noted that the Chabahar Day will be held in Afghanistan next year, and added that it is because Afghanistan is one of the main partners at the port.
Some 115 foreign guests participated in the event dedicated to the Chabahar Day on Feb. 26.
