This Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), profit received from Iran’s mining goods amounted to $8 billion, Iranian Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Reza Rahmani said, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said that the value of Iranian mining goods and products of mining industry has exceeded $20 billion.
He added that in accordance with the next envisaged program, 55 million tons of steel, 1.5 million tons of aluminum and 800,000 tons of copper will be produced in Iran annually.
“The Iranian economy requires special attention to mining activities,” he said.
