By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

Iranian economy "100 percent" does not accept sanctions, Majid Reza Hariri, Deputy Head of Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce, told Young Journalists Club (YJC), Trend reports.

According to Hariri, sanctions are not so bad as to cause problems in the lives of Iranian citizens – but the impact of sanctions on citizens' lives can not be ignored.

Touching on the drop in the trade turnover between Iran and China, Hariri linked it to the reduction in prices for oil and other raw materials such as iron in the global market.

"China has become the number one trade partner of Iran in terms of import and export in the past six years," he said.

As to the import of strategic products from China for the realization of Iran's development goals, Hariri added that imports of raw materials and equipment from China helps form the conditions for increasing production and employment in Iran.
