Turkey and Russia intend to increase trade turnover to $100 billion, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Antalya, Trend reports via Turkish media.
Cavusoglu noted that Turkey and Russia have a large trade potential.
Presently, relations between Turkey and Russia are developing in all areas, he added.
The Turkey-Russia Joint Strategic Planning Group meeting is being held in Antalya. Plans for bilateral cooperation in 2019-2020 will be discussed during the meeting.
According to the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, the country's trade in February 2019 amounted to $30.4 billion.
Turkish imports from Russia in February decreased by 12.18 percent compared to February 2018, and amounted to $1.630 billion.
