Azerbaijan's Goychay Cognac Factory plans to expand the list of its export destinations, a source at the factory told Trend.
Currently, the company is planning to establish an export of cognac products to neighboring countries.
"Our products are mainly exported to the Russian market, but now we are looking for new partners abroad in order to popularize them outside the country and expand the geography of exports. Therefore, we have already begun to increase the production of brandy in order to have additional volumes for new export destinations. Today, the annual production of brandy products reaches about 6.5-7 tons, but by the end of 2019 this figure may be over 7 tons," the source said.
The enterprise has a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents and a Hygienic Certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
The company has installed modern equipment of Russian and German production.
