By Rashid Shirinov – Trend:

In 2018, Kazakhstan's trade turnover with other Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) states amounted to $19.1 billion, which is 10.1 percent more than in 2017, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

Of this, imports made up 69.2 percent or $13.2 billion and exports of Kazakh goods and services to the EEU countries accounted for 30.8 percent or $5.9 billion.

In January this year, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EEU amounted to $1.4 billion.

It should be noted that investment activity of Kazakhstan's partners in the EEU is also growing. In the first 9 months of 2018, the inflow of investments from the EEU into the country's economy made up $1.2 billion, which is 30.9 percent more than in the same period of 2017.

The increasing assets of Kazakhstan's EEU partners in the country's economy indicate the growing interest of investors in Kazakhstan's potential industries.
