The State Committee for City Building and Architecture of Azerbaijan has embarked on a second and final phase of developing a master plan for the city of Baku, Dovlatkhan Dovlatkhanov, Deputy Head of the committee, told Trend.
According to him, this is the largest project that the State Committee is currently undertaking.
"We are planning to complete the second phase of development of the general plan within 18 months. During this period, it is planned to prepare drawings at a scale of 1:10,000, which requires a detailed approach to this process. We plan to conclude a contract with an organization that will carry out the second phase of the preparation of the general plan of Baku," Dovlatkhanov said.
According to him, this contract will be concluded in April.
The first stage of the development of the general plan of the city of Baku consists of a concept for the development of the capital.
