A decrease in demand for aluminum and PVC profiles for door and window systems is observed in the Azerbaijani market, a source in the company Alprof, engaged in the production of such products, told Trend.
According to the source, since early 2019, the company's sales, compared to the last year’s four-month figures, have decreased by 35–40 percent.
"Last year there was also a decrease in demand in this market segment, and sales did not exceed 15 percent. At the same time, from the beginning of the current year there has been a steady downward trend in sales," the source said.
The source also noted that the company is engaged in the production of plastic profiles of different colors within the price range between 2.8 manats and 4.65 manats per linear meter.
Alprof is the first manufacturer to supply PVC profiles for door and window systems to the Azerbaijani market, whose products meet the requirements of the construction market.
