Another waste recycling plant to be built in Kazakhstan's Mangystau Region

A new thermal waste treatment plant is to be built in Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports via lsm.kz.

"To realize the project a memorandum on mutual cooperation was signed by EPR operator, Mangystau regional akimat (local authority) and Hanki Industrial Co. Ltd,” the report said.

“Currently, the project of low-temperature pyrolysis and gasification of waste is at the stage of feasibility study development. The submittals are to be prepared after the feasibility study is over,” reads the message.

“The information on project’s cost, deadlines and factory’s volume is to be disclosed upon the completion of all proceedings,” said the statement.

Thermal treatment is any waste treatment technology that involves high temperatures in the processing of the waste feedstock. Commonly this involves the combustion of waste materials.
