In the second half of 2019, Azerbaijan's Ganja Aluminum Plant plans to expand the volume of its exports to European markets, a source at the plant told Trend.
In particular, the company plans to increase exports to Greece, the source noted.
"Greece has been our regular customer for many years. Considering the increased demand for our products in this country, we plan to increase the export of aluminum to the Greek market. The growth in the export may reach 10 percent," the source said.
It was also noted that the company buys primary aluminum at the Sumgayit Technologies Park and non-ferrous metal plant located in Ganja. Finished products, as well as varieties of semi-finished products are exported to dozens of countries around the world, including the ex-Soviet countries, Turkey, the US and number of European countries.
