Fajr Shahrood Dairy CO, located in the industrial park of Shahrud County of Iran’s northern Semnan Province, exports about 400 tons of cheese per month, Isa Gholami, Production Director at Iran's Fajr Shahrood Dairy CO, told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to Gholami, the export of the company's products to Pakistan is on the agenda.
Gholami added that earlier the products were being exported to Turkmenistan, but the exports have now been ceased due to certain financial problems of the Turkmen side.
"Some 200 tons of milk are processed and 50 tons of cheese are produced daily by the company," he said.
There are about 330 industrial and manufacturing enterprises located in Iran's Shahrud County, more than 100 of which are located in the county’s industrial parks.
