Number & types of vessels sailed through Bosphorus disclosed

In the first quarter of 2019, a total of 9,947 vessels sailed through the Bosphorus in Turkey, of which 4,436 were cargo ships, Trend reports referring to the country's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.

According to the ministry, 1,519 cargo ships sailed through the Bosphorus in January 2019, 1,301 in February, and 1,616 in March.

In the first quarter of 2019, 40 warships sailed through the Bosphorus.
