Azerbaijani producer of dairy products and fruit juices Goychay-Sud LLC plans to increase the volume of supplies of its products to foreign markets, a source in the company told Trend.

Since the beginning of this year, the company has exported fruit juices totaling to 155,300 manats.

“The main share of exports of this volume accounted for Belarus,” the source said. “Fruit juice worth more than 72,000 manats was exported to this country in the five months of 2019. Another 8,387 manats accounted for exports to New Zealand, and the rest was exported to other countries.”

Meanwhile, export volumes for the reporting period decreased by 10-12 percent, according to the source.

“In January-May last year, our exports to Belarus were slightly higher compared to the current figures,” the source added. “Nevertheless, given that we still expect several more shipments to Belarus and to New Zealand by the end of this year, we hope that by the end of 2019, export volumes will be higher than last year.”

The source stressed that the next supplies to the two mentioned countries are expected this autumn.

“In November and October, we plan to send another cargo of juices to Belarus and New Zealand, and we are waiting for the results following negotiations with our Russian partners,” the source said. “There is also demand for Azerbaijani pomegranate juices in the Russian market, so we are counting on cooperation in this direction.”

The company exports only fruit juices, while the dairy products produced by the company are sold in the domestic market.

The company is operating at full capacity and using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
