Cultivation area expanded in Kazakhstan

The cultivating area of forage, vegetable, melon crops and potato was expanded in Kazakhstan for the diversification purposes, Trend reports referring to press office of Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
The area of spring sowing in Kazakhstan amounted to 19 million ha. Furthermore, some 14.5 million ha of the area account for cereal crops, 2.7 ha account for oil crops, 458,300 ha account for vegetables, melon crops and potatoes, 1.2 million ha account for forage crops and 144,000 ha - for industrial crops.
Furthermore, the number of agricultural machinery used during the cultivation process exceeded 700 units.
In addition, some 380,000 tons of diesel fuel were allocated for the cultivation process, 334,500 tons of which was already shipped to the regions of country.
The cultivation company this year met the deadline, which is essential for good harvest.
