Uzbek Commodity Exchange publishes results of trading of precious metals for June 2019

In June 2019, 10,100 grams of precious metals were sold for the total amount of 77.8 million soums at the exchange trading of the Uzbek Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UZEX), Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The bulk of transactions in terms of sales accounted for silver. Thus, 10,000 grams of Ag-1 silver bars were sold at exchange trades in the amount of 41.1 million soums.

The results of the last trading demonstrate that the exchange price of silver was 4,115.1 soums per 1 gram.

In turn, on June 18 of the current year, 100 grams of Au-1 gold worth 36.6 million soums was sold on the stock exchange. The exchange quotation for 1 gram of gold was 365,900 soums. Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC acted as a seller of precious metals in the exchange market.

Precious metals began to be sold through the UZEX stock exchange trades in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan No. 186 dated March 1, 2019 “On Approval of the Regulation on the Order of Sale of Precious Metals at the UZEX JSC”.

The resolution states that buyers of precious metals at exchange trades are manufacturers of industrial products with processing capacities, as well as legal entities and individual entrepreneurs producing jewelry and other products made of precious metals.
