In May 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Kazakhstan increased by $21.548 million, compared to May 2018, and amounted to $217.324 million, Trend reports referring to Turkish Trade Ministry.
In May 2019, Turkey's exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $73.571 million, while imports from Kazakhstan reached $143.753 million.
The trade turnover between Turkey and Kazakhstan in January-May 2019 decreased by $23.99 million and amounted to $958.286 million, according to the ministry.
In January-May 2019, Turkey's exports to Kazakhstan amounted to $302.286 million, while imports equaled to $656,000 million.
The total foreign trade turnover of Turkey in May 2019 amounted to $34.633 billion.
In May 2019, Turkish exports increased by 0.5 percent compared to May 2018 and amounted to $16.334 billion.
In the reported period, Turkey's imports decreased by 17.81 percent compared to May 2018 and amounted to $18.299 billion.
