As many as 1,250 baby ostriches have been exported to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Iraq from Iran’s Gilan province, said Director of the Gilan Agricultural Directorate Ali Darjani, Trend reports with reference to IRNA.
He said that export of ostriches has been carried out over the past few years.
He added that there are 12 ostrich breeding facilities in Gilan, and 750 people are employed at these facilities.
