A new enterprise for coffee production will begin work in Georgia, Trend reports with reference to commersant.ge.
The coffee will be manufactured at a new plant of "Capsule" company, said the company's director Kote Bokuchava.
According to him, over time export of the coffee is also planned under the "Meama" brand.
"The plant construction has already been completed, the raw materials are now being purchased. Coffee beans are being imported from Africa, Latin America, etc.," he said.
"We also plan to start production of Turkish coffee," Bokuchava said.
As he noted, at this stage it is still difficult to talk about the value of the product, as well as about the market share.
The head of the company also did not disclose the volume of investments in the construction of the enterprise.
At the first stage, 50 people will work at the plant.
