A manufacturer of a wide range of fruit juices and compotes operating in Azerbaijan’s Lankaran district plans to launch a new production line soon, manager of the company Famil Abbasov told Trend.
He said that the plant plans to start producing pickled cucumbers.
“The line is under development and will be launched this autumn,” he noted. “Products are intended for the domestic market, and later, for export to neighboring countries. The retail price of one can will vary within 1.4-1.8 manats depending on weight.”
He added that the company produces fruit juices and compotes, as well as canned vegetables and tomato paste.
“Mainly fruit juices and tomatoes are exported, and further expansion of varieties of these types of products is planned,” the manager said.
The products manufactured at the plant in Lankaran have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The plant uses equipment manufactured in Italy.
