The China Medical Pharmaceutical Material Association (CMPMA) will strongly support the process of attracting Chinese investments, innovations and advanced technologies to the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
Association of Uzbek-Chinese Trade and CMPMA discussed this during the meeting last week.
During the meeting, the heads of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, as well as leading experts in the field of pharmaceutical preparations of this ministry took an active part.
The state of cooperation and development in the pharmaceutical field, the possibility of establishing bilateral cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in creating a modern pharmaceutical industry were discussed.
The meeting guests were interested in the practice of creating a free economic zone in the field of pharmaceuticals in Uzbekistan.
It is planned to familiarize Uzbek pharmacists with China's experience in reforming and modernizing the pharmaceutical industry.
The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry organized a familiarization tour for Chinese investors in the Parkent-Pharm and Bustonlik-Pharm pharmaceutical zones being created in the Tashkent region. Investors familiarized themselves with a situational map on the location of pharmaceutical production and the possibility of investing in free economic zones (FEZs).
Special attention is paid to the development of FEZ in the field of pharmaceuticals In Uzbekistan, as an important factor in attracting foreign investment.
The China Association of Medical Pharmaceutical Materials is a nonprofit industry organization established in 1989 by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China.
