Some 65 projects worth 52 billion tenge were put into operation in North Kazakhstan region within the framework of State Program for Industrial Innovative Development, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the region’s akimat (administrative center).

“Within the second five-year plan period for industrialization, 41 projects worth 37 billion tenge will be implemented and 1,500 new work places will be created,” the report said.

According to the press office, the implementation of the program has led to the increase of the industrial manufacturing and new work places as well as of tax payments to budget by 40 percent.

“There are plans to launch 10 projects worth 19 billion tenge this year. About 70 percent of the projects are to be realized in Petropavlovsk city. Therefore, there are some districts of the region where no projects or very few projects will be implemented,” the report said.

Head of the Region Kumar Aksakalov mandated heads of the districts together with representatives of corresponding agencies to address the issue and provide recommendations for projects implementation.
