Iran's Industry, Mine and Trade Ministry has lifted ban on potato exports to Iraq, said the ministry's department for coordination of export of agricultural and processing industry products, Trend reports citing Tasnim News agency.
According to the latest report of the ministry, in the fourth month (June 22-July 22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, potato price increased by 363.9 percent compared to the same month of the last year. Thus, the price of one kilogram of potatoes reached 74,435 rials (roughly $1.77).
Main export destination for Iranian potatoes is Iraq.
