The number of purchase and sale of housing transactions in Kazakhstan amounted to 205,939 cases during January-August 2019, which is 23.3 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the data of Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the number of transaction registered during August 2019 equaled 29,175 cases, which is 10.1 percent less than the previous month.
The largest number of purchase and sale transactions was registered in Almaty city (4,431 transactions, decrease of 0.9 percent compared to July), Nur-Sultan city (3,573 transactions, decrease of 14.3 percent) and Karaganda region (3,021 transactions, decrease of 14 percent).
The least number of transactions was observed in Kazakhstan’s Atyrau region. The number of transactions here equaled 620 transactions, which is 10.4 percent less than in July, but 34.5 percent more than in August 2018.
The greatest increase in the number of purchase and sale transactions is observed in Almaty region. The number of transactions here amounted to 2,144 transactions, which is 3.4 percent less than the previous month, but 38.6 percent more than in August 2018.
In turn, the greatest decrease in the number of transactions is observed in Mangystau region. The number of transactions here amounted to 1,012 transactions, which is 25 percent less than in July 2019 and 6.6 percent less than in August 2018.
