Tehran, Iran, Sept.13

Trend:

Iran seeks to find market for its bread products, aiming at launching international fairs in neighboring countries, CEO of Iran International Exhibitions Company Bahman Hosseinzadeh said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

"Iran should not easily ignore markets of the neighboring countries, with population of some 400 million. The country's current situation means we need to expand exports," he noted.

"The flour and bread fairs can increase trade and investment in grain and bread industry, alongside reforming production and consumption," he said.

"One of the ways for Iran's bread industry to enter the neighboring countries markets is to launch bread exhibition to show its capacities," he said.

"Bread industry's share in Iran is only 8-9 percent however there is good potential in this field for investment without risks," he added.

"Iran's annual bread consumption is very high. The Food and Drug Department of Iran has announced the country's bread consumption per capita is 125 kilo that is twice as much as in European countries," he indicated.
