Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises General Association and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurship of Kazakhstan’s Shymkent city signed a bilateral memorandum on cooperation, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurship of Kazakhstan Atameken.

The signing took place during the visit of the delegation of Hong Kong’s entrepreneurs to Kazakhstan’s Shymkent city.

During the visit, Hong Kong’s entrepreneurs have highly assessed the quality and the eco-friendliness of agriculture and good products, which are being manufactured in Shymkent and have stated readiness to import it in any quantities.

“Any economic relations begin with trade operation, which is why currently we are only talking about trade. We can offer our goods in areas of light industry, agriculture and food industry. Furthermore, we are ready to adopt modern technologies in area of packaging manufacturing. This cooperation will allow us to better understand the Chinese market, because sometimes what we consider to be of high quality is viewed differently over there. This is why it is important to establish the trading cooperation right now,” the Head of Shymkent’s Chamber of Entrepreneurs Nurlan Kabitshayev said.

In order to establish partner and trade relation between companies of Hong Kong and Shymkent a number of B2B meetings were held, during which the opportunity to present a project and discuss ways to enter market of China has arisen.

Furthermore, according to the information, two companies of Hong Kong became interested in Shymkent’s offers during the first day of the visit.
