Investment Visa, which is a special visa developed for foreign investors, is to be introduced in Uzbekistan, as stated by a decree of the president, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek media.
“This decree introduces addition to the variety of entry (non-online) visas for separate groups of foreigners visiting Uzbekistan,” the report said.
According to the decree, the Investment visa is being added to the list of existing Vatandosh visa, Student visa, Academic visa, Medical visa and Piligrim visa.
The, Investment visa is to be issued to foreign citizens and stateless persons, who have previously invested into the economy of Uzbekistan in the amount of no less than 8,500 by a multiple calculated basis. The visa will be issued for the period of three years.
